I'm a UX writer, researcher, and consultant.

​In school I majored in "Understanding People and Why They Do the Things They Do" (also known as Anthropology). Now, I use my social science superpowers and writing superpowers to help businesses help more people.

Before I landed in the UX world, I worked in marketing and strategic communications — any form of written content you can think of, I've probably done it at one point.

​

I've partnered with Fortune 500 companies in the supply chain space, wedding industry solopreneurs, international content agencies and nonprofits, and everything in between (education, food and beverage, entertainment, recreation, you name it). The one thing those projects all have in common? Translating bold ideas into clear, compelling content that drives adoption, engagement, and conversion.

​When I'm not working, you can find me traveling with my husband (also named Alex), weightlifting, hiking, placing solidly middle-of-the-pack at a local trivia night, or snuggling with my cat, Howie.​
